Bernard Grant

Bernard Grant has been licensed to practice law in Texas since November 2001.  He has been admitted to the Federal court in the Northern, Eastern & Southern Districts of Texas. Bernard has worked for high-volume plaintiffs’ law firms, private defense firms, and in-house for major insurance companies, litigating hundreds of cases from filing through trial.  Additionally, Bernard has handled numerous product liability, contract, and real estate disputes from inception to ultimate resolution.

As a trial attorney, Bernard was lead counsel on 45 jury trials in Dallas, Tarrant, Denton, Collin, Johnson and Rockwall Counties. Over his 24 years in litigation, he has handled hundreds of mediations and has an established track record of settling even the most difficult of cases.

Bernard graduated from Texas A&M University in 1996.  After graduating from A&M, Bernard worked as a Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance Agent before attending law school.  Bernard attended St. Mary’s University School of Law and graduated in May 2001.  While attending St. Mary’s, Bernard served on the St. Mary’s Law Journal and was published on a Federal Income Texas Issue.  

Bernard is a former City Council Member for the City of Murphy, Texas. And he has served on various boards and commissions for the City of Murphy.
