Services:
The Gilbert Mediation Group offers a variety of mediation
scheduling options emphasizing convenience for attorneys
and their clients. Specifically, we offer full and
half-day mediation sessions, as well as, for an additional
fee, Saturday sessions. We also offer early
morning, mid-day and late afternoon expedited mediations
featuring two hour sessions at a reduced fee arrangement.
Lunch will not be provided for half day sessions. We
are also available to conduct out-of-town mediation
sessions in your facilities or at a mutually agreeable
site. We have access to facilities in several
Texas cities and can assist in locating appropriate
facilities in other locations.
Some of our mediators
are also available to conduct arbitrations, upon request. If
you are interested in these services, please contact our offices.
Competitive Rates
The Gilbert
Mediation Group offers competitive rates based upon
the complexity of the matter and the amount of time
needed to conduct the mediation session. Typically,
we allow the parties to request the preferred length of the mediation session. Multiple
party cases may be subject to a lower per party rate depending upon the complexity
of the litigation or pre-litigation issues and the time necessary to conduct
the mediation. Overtime rates may apply to half-day or expedited mediations
that extend beyond the time allotted for them. Each of our mediators sets
their own fees. Please contact our offices if you have any questions.
Commitment to the Mediation Process
Our
mediators have participated in thousands of mediations. We
are committed to this process and believes that the
right mediator can make a difference in the resolution
of litigated and non-litigated issues. You will find
that Mark, Rip and Courtenay are active rather than
passive mediators. If your mediation session does not
result in a settlement, we will continue to endeavor
to bring about a settlement. We believe in continuing
to keep the channels of communication open. In short,
when you hire The Gilbert Mediation Group, you will
be hiring someone with tenacity and commitment to the
process to bring about a resolution of your case.
Apportionment of Fees
The mediation fee
is typically shared equally by all parties. It is acceptable
for one party to advance or pay the mediation fee on
behalf of another party. In most court ordered mediations,
the full amount of the mediation fee will be taxed
as court costs unless the parties agree otherwise.
Responsibility of Parties
Each partie's
attorney shall be responsible for the timely payment
of all fees. The mediator reserves the right to refuse
to commence the mediation session if all fees have
not been tendered in acceptable form.
