Debbie Adest
Debbie is responsible for scheduling mediations for Mark Gilbert and Courtenay Bass. Debbie earned a degree in Paralegal Studies from El Centro College. She began her career as a legal assistant in 1994 with the Law Offices of David M. Vereeke. Her mediation scheduling experience began in 1997 with a local mediator. She joined Mark Gilbert in 2001 and has successfully handled the scheduling of thousands of mediations. As a litigation assistant, she handled a variety of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle collisions and premises liability cases. Brenda Diaz
Brenda is responsible for scheduling mediations for James Juneau, Ashley (de la Cerda) Evans, Clayton Devin, Kimberly Munson, Jennifer Stephens, Nancy Carnahan, and Ken Wright. Brenda earned a Legal Assistant Certificate from Central Texas Commercial College. She began her career in the legal field in 1996 at Wills & Smythe, P.C. in Dallas. She later worked at The Smythe Law Firm, P.C. in Arlington, managing a busy office that handled personal injury, business, and federal criminal litigation. Her responsibilities included client contact, file management, document preparation, and assistance at trials. In 2004, she moved back to Dallas and added bankruptcy and family law to her experience. Raeshaan (Rae) Tanner
Rae is responsible for scheduling mediations for J. Michael Brounoff, David Chumbley, Bill Dippel, Doug Fletcher, Brian Gerron, and Steve Waldman. Rae earned a Paralegal Certificate from Arlington Career Institute and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a minor in Sports and Entertainment Marketing from Northwood University. She began her career as a Paralegal in 2002 with Thompson & Knight LLP. She later worked as an Office Manager/Paralegal, managing a busy office that handled personal injury, insurance defense, and business litigation. Her responsibilities included assisting on coverage issues on wind/hail claims, Plaintiff, and UIM claims from onset through post-trial. Her mediation scheduling experience began in 2019.
